Audit
Within Case Notes every button click is an auditable action. The Audit service records all activities for each user of the Case Notes system providing information on what folders the user opened, the documents they read, which buttons they clicked on and at what time - maintaining a highly secure patient record.
The National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) defines Clinical Audit as: "...a quality improvement process that seeks to improve patient care and outcomes through systematic review of care against explicit criteria and implementation of change.” The Audit Service in Case Notes allows administrators to interrogate audit trails and track activities of users, without the need for specialist programming knowledge.
