Security
The Access Control Framework, working with the Resource Permissions Manager and Reference Data Manager, controls access to confidential data, resources and modules within Case Notes. The system administrator controls an internal register or uses an external service to maintain a directory of users of the Case Notes system. This information includes roles, team membership and passwords.
Case Notes authenticates each user at login and provides access according to the permissions associated with each individual and job role. Additional authentication may also take place prior to this by Smart Card if required.
