Diagnostic Image Management

The Diagnostic Image Management module provides a distributed and scalable PACS archive that integrates with a wide range of imaging modalities and workstations through its extensive Dicom 3.0 support.  The module is highly scalable and has the capability to act as a long term archive if required. Its distributed storage capability makes use of a wide range of industry standard technologies thus making the module suitable for both small scale and large, multi-site locations.

The module is fully Dicom compatible and makes use of an extensive Dicom library. The system offers a distributed storage solution that is fully scalable up to and including large multi-site facilities. Diagnostic Image Management makes use of a wide range of industry standard technologies for image storage, ensuring that a solution is available regardless of facility size or structure. The module includes full HL7 support allowing patient demographics to be synchronised with other hospital information systems. Existing PACS workstations can interface directly with the archive using the Dicom protocol and the system can act as a full stand alone PACS archive if required.
