Order Communications System (OCS)
Case Notes’ Order Communications System (OCS) module provides a quick and efficient way to order tests and requests. The OCS links with In-Tray, where latest results and clinical communications can be accessed immediately on logon. Results can then be viewed in tabular and graphical form in the Results Reporting module.
The OCS offers uses ‘request basket’ as a familiar start to the process. Frequently-used and personal lists of tests save time and focus choice, saving time on searching for tests through long request lists. Current ordering history can also be viewed, with the option to edit a partially pre-filled order screen, pulling patient information and clinical information into the order. The user can then review all orders before sending them to the departments.
