Master Patient Index Service

Case Notes' Master Patient Index (MPI) service provides patient demographic data to a client application.

The MPI service will typically be available across a group of related organisations within a geographic region. Patient searches within the client systems may trigger a request to the external Master Patient Index and editing of details on any of those systems will trigger a modification to it.

The MPI service can be loaded from other registry services prior to going live, or through integration during live operation.

Case Notes’ MPI service is also available for integration within a bespoke integration environment or a service-orientated architecture.
